The major center marquise diamond is prong set in an east to west direction. This diamond measures approximately 7.9 - 4.2 x 2.5 mm (although it is difficult to measure accurately while mounted) with an actual weight of 0.47 carat. It is top color, graded at D, and the diamond is a little shallow (giving it a larger appearance), but still well cut. It exhibits very strong blue fluorescence, but this is mainly noticeable except under a blacklight; it doesn't really have a distracting hazy, cloudy, or oily appearance. We grade the clarity at SI-1. It is eye clean and as you can see from the photos and video, the diamond faces up beautifully! The accent diamonds are well matched with a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.18 carat. These diamonds are nearly colorless with an average color graded at G/H. They are eye clean with an average clarity graded at SI-1 and are well cut; just really nice, sparkly diamonds! Total diamond weight of the ring is stated at 0.65 carat; but it definitely has a bigger "look" to it! All the diamonds in this ring are 100% genuine, natural, earth mined, untreated, and unenhanced. Natural diamonds have a decades long history of appreciating in value, whereas lab grown diamonds have an undeniable history of costing less and less money every year. The mounting is a single row halo design by the Minneapolis based manufacturer Ostbye Co., style number OB13A56-Eng. Ostbye normally only sells to better independent fine jewelry stores. It is solid 14 karat white gold and currently finger size 6.5 but is easily sizable by a good jeweler. The ring weighs 3.1 grams and is approximately 7.3 mm wide at the top. There is a matching wedding band available through any jewelry store that carries the Ostbye line. Although this style is not currently shown on Ostbye's website, they don't discontinue styles entirely and nonactive styles are still available as a special order. You would go to ostbye dot com to find a retail partner to order the band from should you wish to do that. The ring is flat, though, and this ring would work with any number of bands that will fit up flush to it.
