Description: 7 Left SOLD INDIVIDUALLY 1940's Westinghouse Pendant light, as nice as they get.Removed from a pleasant environment, these have been stored for years. The condition is good with authentic character on all. The shades all have chips, none are in perfect condition. I have the four with the most patina pictured, both top and bottom. The shades not pictured all have less patina. The range from "B" to "B-" condition. The shades are 18" in diameter, The Crouse Hinds VDB3 Globes are spectacular and in excellent condition. The sockets are original and in wonderful condition. They were simply cleaned, inspected and re-wired with high-temperature 150 centigrade wire. A ground wire has been added for safety. . The original asbestos gasket was safely removed and replaced with a new factory cut non-asbestos gasket. Beautiful original heavy-duty Westinghouse sockets, cleaned, inspected and re-wired with high-temperature fixture wire. A ground wire was added for extra safety. The fitters have all been extensively cleaned and have an as-original finish. Thee shades all have minor chips, none are in perfect condition. The range from "B" to "B-" condition.The beautiful and sexy Crouse Hinds VDB3 globes are 6" in diameter. With the provided 12" galvanized down-rod, the total from bottom of the globe to the ceiling is 25". From the bottom of the globe to the point the pipe screws into the light fitter is 13". I can swap down-rods to 3" or 6" free of charge. If no change is requested, the lights will ship with vintage 12 inch down-rods as pictured. No expense was spared during the restoration of these amazing vintage lights. I tend to each and every one as if I was restoring it for public exhibition...I'm extremely proud of my work. Light will be shipped in pieces to insure safe arrival; re-assembly is EASILY accomplished by purchaser. These guys are relatively heavy. The glass required extra packing and larger boxes. I suggest that all electrical items be checked and installed by a professional electrician.Always buying nice collections of lights or those dirty old barn lights that were removed decades ago now residing in the attic.
