Cubaris murina isopods are relatively small pods, round, endearing, and capable of rolling into a little ball. The 'glacier' morph of this species turns the isopod entirely white, including their eyes (they have eyes! just no pigment). Some glaciers may exhibit a slightly yellow tone as they near molting, and will often show a dark stripe along their back; the pod's digestive tract showing through! Cubaris murina isopods prefer a humid environment, but are more forgiving to drier patches than their more tropical ducky cousins. They require hides, calcium, and plentiful leaf litter, and seem to enjoy fish-based protein more than supplemental veggies. Isopods ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to prevent being stuck in the mail system over the weekend!
