Description: 100% Original USGI WWII USMC 11-Pocket Grenade/Ammunition Vest, Depot Made. Vest still has the cutters tag dated 1944 attached. This is NOT the common WWI US Army 11-Pocket Vest that are easy to find. These were made specifically for the US Marine Corp. These have different buckles and used a different material than the WWI US Army Vest. Look at a WWI US Army version and you will quickly see the difference. This vest was removed from a string bound bundle of five, the last two photographs show the bundle of five that this vest was removed from. Vest is in unissued NOS condition showing only signs of long-term storage. There are some pin prick holes around the snap areas, I have shown these in a number of photographs, I believe these occurred in manufacturing.
