Ideal using in place of OEM Eheim 1500XL, 2250, 2260, & 2262 filters for ponds, saltwater, and freshwater aquariums. You can cut to fit and replace any pad type filter. Easy to cut down to get the exact fit that you want. They are approximately 1 inch or two inch thick, but sometimes being condensed for shipping purposes may make them thinner.
