It is a 1/2” valve with NPT ports and a 15mm internal orifice. It is a semi-direct valve operating from a normally open position. It is considered a zero-differential valve as it requires no pressure differential to work properly and can be used in gravity feed applications. This valve is fast acting, opening or closing in less than one second using stainless steel components and an EPDM seal.This is a uni-directional valve with a directional arrow indicating the inlet and outlet port. This cannot operate as a check valve and will not work properly against backflow or backpressure.This valve is fit with a powerful 24 Volt DC coil with a 43650A DIN Connector. The 410 series coil has an H Class Rating which is equivalent to IP65 or NEMA 4 enclosure ratings. This coil is rated for continuous use however, powering it for long periods of time can reduce the life of the coil. This valve should be installed in a well ventilated area allowing airflow to the coil to maximize lifespan. This valve should be mounted coil up when possible and should never be mounted upside down.This valve uses media assistance in conjunction with the coil to open and close properly. Similar to most solenoid valves the diaphragms weep holes need to be kept free of debris. In order to protect this valve and your application from debris a pre-filter is always recommended upstream from your solenoid valve. *Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
