Description: We purchased these buttons from the warehouse of a retired button wholesaler who had incredible amounts of uncirculated new old stock. These buttons were made in the 1960's in a factory in the city of Nijkerk, Holland and are made of Casein. The buttons were manufactured in a way that they first polished the entire button, then carved a circle into them so that they would be matte, which cost too much to produce any longer. Such buttons are no longer manufactured, and are now considered collectible. We have a great quantity of these and other similar buttons that are hard if not impossible to find elsewhere.
