Music rescues from abandoned pianos. The pin board and sides are secondary wood, also from the framework of the piano. Our graphic artist has chosen the Celtic Vessel pattern to permanently wood burn into the antique wood. This will be a family heirloom that can be passed down to future generations. The low note is a Bb, then C, D, Eb, F, G, A, Bb, C, D, Eb,F, G, A. Free Mtn. Music has tuned this instrument to the 432h, which promotes peace and healing. Should you choose to play along with your favorite pre-recorded music, you will need to purchase a Chromatic instrument tuner, and a tuning hammer, available at any music store. This Lyre has been crafted from both vintage Piano wood, and also other secondary woods. Any supposed blemishes are all part of a vintage piano's wood and were embraced into the construction of this Lyre. We feel it adds character and history.
