This event took place on the rolling hills of Gettysburg, Pa. on June 28, 29 and 30, where for sure the troops passed through and formed their battle lines to march into the fray in July of 1863. This property is less than one mile from the National Park Battlefield. These grounds are the very same grounds that the movie "Gettysburg" was filmed on. If you were there, this is something you don't want to miss, to keep as a remembrance of your participation. It is a great educational tool for teachers , Civil War buffs and historians.
