Description: Fresh bulbs. Easy to grow. These can be planted all seasons except Winter. Especially in shade or part sun. Darker types like more shade. 16 Bulbs/Corms Burgundy Purple Center With Pale Pink Blooms Purple Oxalis are a personal favorite. I have several pots on my deck. So easy and tolerant. Just the right height for pots or baskets, tolerates shadier spots and the pale pink flowers complement the dark foliage nicely. These are easy to grow and will reproduce rapidly in good soil. They bloom well in sun or part sun. Bulbs will over winter well just stuck in storage in their pot in a cool dry space or wrapped in newspaper. They come back easily next spring. Hardy to Zone 6 if sheltered a bit. Great ground cover, fairy garden, or potted plant. You'll never have to buy more if you treat these few bulbs right. After October 1st, bulbs will be considered dormant and to be kept for next year. I can't guarantee they will grow well until spring. It may still be possible that they can be grown outdoors in warm regions or you may attempt to grow them in a sunny window indoors. An answer to a question on late season growing.... If you can keep them outside in warmth and sun for while they will sprout up faster. Not intense sun. Medium moistiure. They also can do well in a warm sunny window indoors, but an outdoors start really helps. Its usually 1 week in spring/summer but takes longer 2 to 4 weeks in late season for them to sprout. Depending on conditions they are kept in. Answer to an inquiry on how these overwinter.... You can put them out in the sun, or part sun is best, in the spring/summer/ fall. Then, in late fall, just dig up the little bulbs and wrap them in newspaper. You can store them in the dark, doesn't matter as long as it is reasonably dry. Even easier, if you keep them in a pot, you can just bring the whole pot in, no need to water until you want them to grow again. I do believe they would also stay alive in a sunny warm window during the winter. Mine even survive winter in West Virginia in the ground and come back up in the spring. Zone 5/6. Master gardener with professional greenhouse experience. Guaranteed to be alive when received and packed responsibly. No long term guarantees. Problems must be reported within five days of receipt of shipment of plant. Another answer to a question on overwintering ..... You may want to check your zoning. I am 5/6 and they survive winter here. It can depend on shelter and temperatures. You can also grow them outside in a pot until first frost. Then just bring the pot in and store in a cool dark place. They go dormant and are the easiest bulbs to store that I know of and will come back to life again in the spring with some warmth and water. They reproduce quickly in good soil. You can also dig up some of the bulbs and try it both ways. I sometimes wrap them in newspaper for storage. Some people have luck with keeping them as a houseplant. The purple does best, but all will need a sunny window. Please note: On details.... Please review pictures and descriptions carefully and ask all questions before you bid. On feedback...
