Description: 1785 George III Solid Silver Serving Ladle With Hand Chased Design To The Terminal. Full English Sterling Silver Hallmarks for Hester Bateman, London 1785. A lovely ladle full of olde world character, hand made and designed by the renown Hester Bateman, London. A real antique item in fair pre-loved and well used antique condition. There is an old repair to a split and a small bruise on the bowl, also there is a stress split appearing to the neck support, as seen in my photographs. Still very usable. Softening to the hand chasing design. Measurements approximately: Length: 33cm (13”) Bowl side to side: 9cm (3. 1/2”) Weight: 132g This piece is already in circulation meaning no new silver has been used. The ultimate in sustainable shopping. All of my items are carefully and lovingly selected by myself. Please be aware that all my items are pre-owned, therefore there may be a few slight scratches or signs of wear and tear commensurate with use and age. Anything of note will be added in the above condition report. I endeavour to provide detailed photography to give a true sense of the condition. Please see all photos using the zoom function available, as they constitute the item description. Please note where possible packaging is recycled. I only ship internationally via eBay’s GSP service, as the U.K. does not provide a fully tracked service. Check out my other listings for more antique, vintage and collectable silver.
