With 5 engraved plates having 10 portraits including Wellington and Buonaparte, an engraved title vignette depicting the 'Glorious Battle' a fold out, hand painted plan of the battle and a hand painted fold out plate of the Plain of Waterloo - all present. Also included are the accounts of the trials and execution of Ney, Labedoyere et al. This SECOND EDITION was published in 1816 by J.GLEAVE, Manchester. "Or, a faithful and interesting History of the unparallelled Events connected therewith; from a period of Bonaparte's escape to from Elba, to his arrival at St. Helena. Containing a circumstantial narrative of the Decisive Victory.." This book has been rebound in black linen boards. Light blue endpapers. Handwritten names on the verso of the ffep. Title pages are pulling. Foxing through the book. The fold out plate has been repaired with tape. This book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages viii, 527pp 22cm x 15cm.
