Description: PCGS authenticated and graded MS 64 BN. Lustrous light brown with subtle hints of bluish steel and traces of mint color on the obverse. There is a shallow planchet void or low spot in the center of the cheek, as struck, plus some tiny pinpricks in the field off the lock at the forehead. Otherwise the surfaces are satiny and free of defects. LDS, die state d, with a faint die crack through the top of MERIC, clearest at IC. Finest of the late state in the Grellman census. Upright 55.
