18650 Li-Ion 2C-Cell Maglite Adapter - Flashlight

Description: For those who have switched to using 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable batteries but still have devices that take those C cell alkalies, this adapter might be something you'd be interested in. This auction is for a 3D printed adapter which allows a single 18650 Lithium Ion battery to take the place of 2x C-Cell alkaline batteries. This auction is for the 3D printed adapter ONLY and does not include the Flashlight, the 18650 battery, or the C-cell alkalines shown in the pictures. These items are only for reference purposes. Disclaimer: 18650 batteries are designed for ~4.2 volts at full charge while 2x C cells put out 3.0 volts in series. Some devices can handle the voltage discrepancy (like your typical flashlight) with no harm, but other devices might be more sensitive. Be sure to consider this before ordering. Also, when your 18650 battery requires charging, it must be removed from the adapter. As this is a 3D printed part, there may be some slight blemishes due to the printing process. This in no way weakens or affects the functionality of the adapter. Also, the color may vary between the silver (as depicted in photos) or black due to availability. If you have a specific preference between the two colors please let me know as I can accommodate, although it may take additional time. The positive contact is the head of a screw which extends into the adapter body and contacts the Positive terminal of the 18650 battery. The negative contact is the actual battery protruding ~0.5" from the back of the adapter. This protrusion allows easy access to the battery when it needs to be removed from the adapter.
