Description: Up for your consideration is a very nice 1878-CC Morgan Silver dollar. A Choice XF+ details First-year Carson City Morgan with a very nice luster and a golden toning. The obverse shows all of her finer hairlines, strong borders on the leaves and cotton, and quite a few of the cotton seeds. The reverse shows bold eagle wing feathers, strong neck feathers, and several of the chest feathers, quite scarce with the reverse of the '78. There is also excellent separation on the leaves in the wreath. The rims are in excellent shape, with only light hits, and the fields are extra clean. The surfaces are more shiny and reflective than anticipated, so she has had a cleaning at some point during her long life.
