1883 Sampson Hancock Potteries PALMYRA Blue Transferware 10½" Daisy Plate

Description: Here is a beautiful aesthetic movement transferware plate by Sampson and Hancock of England. The plate is decorated with a series of daisies or sunflowers and the pattern is called Palmyra. The transfer is in blue and there are gold highlights on the rim. The plate measures about 10½ inches in diameter. It weighs just over 1 pound and 10 ounces before packaging. It is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The side has two areas where the glaze is thicker which I have shown in the pictures. The plate has light crazing, but none of it is discolored. It is marked as shown.
