Description: 1894 Victorian Porcelain Amateur Hand Painted Pink & Gold Flower Shaped Tea Cup. This little pink and gold flower shaped tea cup belonged to my aunt and was in her collection of pretty and unique single tea cups. This was painted by an amateur hobbiest in 1894. The initials N. M. could very easily be one of my relatives, or it could have been aquired at an antique shop or as a gift. The thin porcelain cup measures 2" tall and just over 4" wide. It's a flower shaped with a branch or twig handle. It has an overall glaze in light pink and had gold painted veins and handle. This little cup has one chip on the brim (see photos). It's would still display beautifully and would make a great addition to your collection.
