Description: A fair copy of this book with great illustrations by Remington and text by Teddy Roosevelt. The book evidently got wet at one time, warping the rear cover and staining the pages and making many of them stick together. Several pages have ripped where they were once stuck together; the final page (pictured) is stuck to the final endpaper & rear inside cover-- it will surely rip if not un-stuck in a careful/professional manner. Doesn't appear to have any musty odor to it. Ink signature of original owner on flyleaf. It's a nice book, really, in spite of its damage. The 1896 second edition is quite scarce. B-2 Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
