A distinction that was well earned, considering his career accomplishments included; leading the league in wins four times, leading the league in strikeouts five times, winning 30 or more games four times, pitching four shutouts and ten complete games in World Series competition and winning 373 regular season contests. Offered is one of the finest recorded examples of his classic "portrait" card from the T206 series. The back displays a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" with a factory 25 caption.
