Description: 1911 Thumb Safety Shorty’s. This listing is for 3 Short Thumb Safety’s. These are castings so there is some work to get them where you want the. These are a bit shorter by half of what an extended long safety is. The work to be done is to take the top lip off and clean them up with a file or sand paper pending on how you want them to come out. For polishing them and TIN coating there is a bit more work for bluing and cerakoting them its less. So they will clean up nice and you can blue them, cerakote, or TIN coat them or polish them out to a nice shine all I have done and they come out nice. This is a chance to have three for the price of one and I don’t have to many of these left. They are a 17-4 stainless steel so hope that helps some. Free shipping as well.
