Description: Pricing is per note! The pack is shown to display the origin of the note(s) you will receive. I AM THE WARRIORUpholder of the Austro-Hungarian Empire 1867-1918 I valiantly defended the Empire and homeland from 1867 through the Great War. It took 22 Allied Nations to defeat the Empire and my staunchest ally, the German Empire, in 1918. This currency, the Krone or Crown or Corona, which aptly carries my proud image, was backed in silver and was the coin of the realm until then, when it was replaced with the upstart Schilling. What a glorious piece of currency it is! Exquisitely engraved in red and black, the front displays mirror image faces flanking the Imperial staff entwined by snakes, the royal seals of both Austria and Hungary and "One Crown" in the languages of both, and an ornate "DeutschOesterreich" (German Austria) overprint! The back shows moi, the ever faithful keeper in the flame in my flame-buoyant helmet, in a fancy reddish-orange frame flanked by grey medallions. If this fails to inspire you, you're obviously not a keeper of the flame of history. If it does, please read on.This is a guaranteed original and authentic WW1 Austro-Hungarian Empire Crown Note!It was roughly equivalent to a U.S. Silver Half Dollar ($18 in today's money not counting the silver). It was issued at the height of the Great War, on Dec 1, 1916!It had a dual denomination of 1 Austrian Krone and 1 Hungarian Korona. It remains in bank fresh Gem CU condition and comes from the actual pack shown in the scan.WSL, multiple notes will be consecutively numbered!!A pre-eminent numismatic investment at a mere $9.99!!
