Description: This 1920s navy blue rayon blouse is covered in very Art Deco-styled beading. The beaded medallion shapes feature bright colors that jump out from the dark background. The blouse is collared and has fairly straight sleeves that gather at narrow cuffs. It has hidden snaps at the neckline and snaps on the cuffs. Interestingly, there is also a wide beaded panel on the inside of the front of the blouse. I have no idea why that's there but if anyone has any theories I'd love to hear them! The blouse has a size label but no other labels. This piece is a hundred years old and thus does have some issues. Most notably, it has a hole/tear at the back of the right shoulder. This is about 7/8" by 3/8" and should be stabilized if this piece is to be worn or displayed. There's some fairly mild dark purple-ish discoloration at the top of the back neckline and on the front of the blouse in front of each under arm. This isn't as visible in person, the photos are necessarily a bit over-exposed. You will find a little bead loss, but for the most part it's held up pretty well. The blouse is offered as-is and as-found. I've done no cleaning and no mending. Measurementsshoulders: 14"bust: 41"length: 39"sleeve length: 21"
