Description: Offered for sale is a used US Coleman model 327 lantern fount. The bung holding the valve in the fount has spun and the valve can't be removed. The bung will need to be resoldered. The fount needs cleaning inside and has not been tested. The nickel plating is decent and there are no dents in the fount. There are no stampings or markings on the fount, so it predates the Coleman side stamp which started in early 1924. The valve has the larger diameter straight pickup. I'm not sure of the exact timeline for this valve type but believe around 1920 so I estimate the fount is from 1920-24. Do your own research if you want to pinpoint the date. The bung changed to a hex design early in the 1920's but I can't confirm an exact year. Please view all photos to confirm the condition and ask any questions before purchase.
