Description: First flight cover which went from San Francisco, CA to Portland, Oregon on the first day of the Seattle to Los Angeles contracted air mail route. They used two of the 1920 5 cent Pilgrim Tercentenary stamps (Scott #550), which were then cancelled in San Francisco at 5 a.m. on September 15,1926. The envelope was stamped received on the back in Portland, Oregon at 1 p.m. on the same date. It's in beautiful condition having been stored in a dark closet in a smoke-free home.
