Among the original owners of the Mine and Smelter Supply Company were Eben Smith and brothers John S. and Robert J. Cary. By 1904, Joseph Seep had bought out all the original partners, and his heirs retained control of the company for many years. Arthur R. Wilfley and Frank E. Marcy invented some of the ore handling machinery which was manufactured and marketed by the Mine and Smelter Supply Company. The company, had branch houses in Denver, Salt Lake City, El Paso, and later Mexico City. They were the largest concern in the world handling mining and smelting machinery and supplies exclusively. The covers show some light wear. Internally a few end pages are soiled and show wear, but the main body of the catalog remains clean and tight. See images for more details
