Bright, flashy MS coin with excellent luster and an overall light bronze? toning and darker toned areas around the rims. Liberty and the eagle are lighter toned and appear to stand out from the darker toned fields. In the recesses and around Liberty and the date area and the eagle, there is darker shade rainbow toning. Note that I use a scanner and it doesn't show colors vividly. The coin has a few marks, so it likely wouldn't grade at the higher MS levels, but I am not well versed in such things. Unfortunately, the major mark on the coin is right on the ear. If you look in that mark, on several of the scans, you will see a dark spot. I believe that could be the remnant of the earhole. Having an earhole is one of the requirements for a minimum full head. Also, the 3 olive leaves need to be complete down to the connecting point. I am not sure that they do. We do have the distinct hairline. I was looking at some of the certified full heads of this date on this site, and it seemed some didn't even meet the minimum, so criteria evidently are varied.
