"In A Bluebonnet Year," the painting by Adrian Brewer of Little Rock, Arkansas, which was awarded $2,500, the highest prize in the Edgar B. Davis national art contest decided at San Antonio, Texas. Prizes totaling $14,500 were donated by Edgar B. Davis for the best paintings of Texas wild flowers, ranch life and cotton fields.
