Description: 14.00 1930's Composition Baby in Beautiful Blue Outfit ~ Unmarked Dionne Clone?This auction is for a pretty 8" composition doll in excellent condition with no crazing, cracks or repairs. She came to me in pieces and the seller said all the hooks, etc. were included. However when I received her the bar inside her head was not attached and the hook was missing. It took quite a while to restring her and the clothing was filthy and stained. Once I restored the doll and clothing, she turned out really pretty. Doll has no markings. Also included is a bit of her history...a tag that reads "Chicago Ill 1946 Aunt Bessie". She looks a lot like the Dionne quintuplet dolls, but has no markings. There is another auction with a doll like her in the same outfit, but a different color. Her hair (bangs are stitched to the bonnet) looks pretty, but is not a wig.I have tried to describe as best I can, but feel free to ask questions.
