Description: Antique 1930s French Pochoir Print on Paper - Edouard Halouze approx. 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" (image) approx. 8" x 8" overall Pochoir is a refined stencil-based technique employed to create prints or to add color to pre-existing prints, characterized by its crisp lines and brilliant colors, producing images that have a freshly printed or wet appearance. It was most popular from the late 19th century through the 1930's with its center of activity in Paris. Beautiful lines, vivid colors paper is slightly tanned; minor creases, minor stains, Stamps on front and back (Made in France and Importer's - L. C.
