Description: Outstanding complete number of Esquire: The Magazine for Men for March 1935 is in very good condition. The nicest one I've seen in a long time. Just a little fine soil and a tiny bit of edge wear to the paper wrappers. See photo # 2 for complete contents. This is Volume 3, #3, the 16th issue published by the magazine. 178 oversize pages. Heavy. The back cover is displayed in photo # 3, along with some great advertisements and color drawings, including a nice George Petty creation (photo # 5), another for a "super-charged" Auburn (photo # 4). There are article headlines pictured by Ernest Hemingway ("Sailfish Off Mombasa"), Theodore Dreiser ("Five Moods in Minor Key"), and for German author Thomas Mann's short story, here first published in English and Illustrated by John Groth ("The Hungry"). Price includes Priority Mail postage. I'd send this one along in a thick plastic sleeve in-between stiff cardboard for maximum protection.
