I AM A POSITIVE EBAY SELLER SINCE 2002- PLEASE BID/BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!! CASE: This fantastic solid 9 CARAT GOLD three piece snap back and bezel case is in nice condition for its age. The case has some light wear here and there as you would expect for a 89+ years of age timepiece. This gorgeous solid gold quality case is NOT inscribed with any personalization at all. The case back shows several dings and light creases. The inside of the case back is FULLY marked for solid 9 carat gold with the assay mark for Birmingham and date letter for 1935. The case measures 3.1cms or 31mm in width excluding the crown. The extended lugs are gold. The bottom lug is in great condition and the top lug has had a replacement bar lead soldered into position. The solder shows at either end of the lug. DIAL: This absolutely beautiful ORIGINAL LONGINES FULLY SIGNED bright white dial looks fantastic! This is really a one off dial which shows no damage or hairlines that I can see and just a little wear on the dial writing. The blued steel wire 'CATHEDRAL' design hands are also in excellent condition and are lumed. The sub-second hand is black steel and is in good condition. The dial is beautifully signed with the word 'Longines' over the sub second dial and ‘JW BENSON LONDON’ underneath the twelve. This wonderful dial has black painted Arabic numerals with lume infill showing only light lume wear in places (see pics). The crystal is new and is in excellent condition. This is an absolutely beautiful looker!!! MOVEMENT: This beautiful wristwatch is powered by a RARE 16 jeweled CAL 12.92 FULLY SIGNED LONGINES manual wind movement. The movement is in good condition. It is stamped '16 jewels' 'Swiss Made' and has the number 12.92 stamped on the top plate. This lovely clean LONGINES original movement has been oiled and timed by my watchmaker and has kept good time to within approx one minute over a 24 hour period. As always a FULL service is recommended for optimum performance and continued operation and you buy the watch knowing and agreeing this. The movement winds and sets as it should. The white metal crown is unsigned and shows some light normal wear. BAND: This is a brand new genuine 18 MM open ended black leather band. I have just had it fitted, and it is in new condition and has not been worn. The watch and band measure just over 8 and a half inches in total length. BOX: This beautiful JW Benson watch is also complete with its original JW Benson leatherette blue box. The box is signed inside. The hinges are good. It shows patina and light wear to the inside and some normal wear scuffs and scrapes to the outside. THIS IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL AND EXTREMELY RARE SOLID GOLD LONGINES WRISTWATCH IN GOOD CONDITION.
