Description: This is two fo the 1d , 1 1/2d and 2 1/2d on a registered cover to Chicago. The cancellation is very faint, but ties the stamps to the cover. On the reverse are 2 strikes of a NEW YORK transit mark of 19 December 1935 and 2 CHICAGO reeceipt marks of the next day. The reverse is embossed POST OFFICE BERMUDA. It is likely that the addressee had ordered some stamps and the cover conveyed them to the buyer. This was quite a routine way to add to a collection at that time. The cover has been slit open at the left.I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries.
