Description: Very nice 1938 luncheon menu from the Italian Ocean Liner S.S. REX cruise ship featuring colorful graphics of Italian theatrical characters. This vintage ship menu is dated September 6, 1938 and is printed in Italian and in English. This ocean liner's maiden voyage was in September 1932, and would remain in active service until September 1944, when it was destroyed by Allied bombers. This vintage ocean liner menu measures 8 1/2" x 11". It has bumped corners, a slight stain on the inside left bottom & a couple of tiny dots on the back, as shown in the photos above. Wonderful vintage collectible menu from one of the finest passenger cruise ships sailing prior to World War II. It was referred to as the "Rivera Afloat". Nice old colorful addition to a Cruise Ship/Ocean Liner Collection! This menu will be packaged carefully between heavy cardboard and shipped USPS Priority Mail.
