1940s Men's Benrus Model AX11 Manual Wind Watch

Description: 1940s Men's Benrus Manual Wind Watch This is a very nice men's Benrus manual wind watch, made in Switzerland sometime during the 1940s. The 17 jewel Model AX11 / ETA 011 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The dial is in extremely good condition for its age - note there are a few tiny marks near the logo, there is some wear on the edges from rubbing against the bezel, and the corners are slightly bent. The edges/corner defect can not be seen when the watch is fully assembled. The gold plated case has been cleaned and polished, and shows only minor surface scratches from past use. A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed. A brand new brown Champion brand lizard calf strap has been installed. Overall, the watch is in excellent condition and ready to wear!
