Description: I have a pair of these. I only photographed one. If you are interested in purchasing the set, I will send you photographs of both, and will sell the set at a discounted price. A pretty rare 1940's ship's masthead oil burning lantern. Seems to be fully intact. About a foot tall when closed, made of copper anodized sheet, rivets, brass fittings, and glass. Heavy, at around 5 or 6 lbs. A really awesome piece of maritime history, for a collector of the rare and unusual, or nautical objects. Maybe decoration for a very nice beach house or shipyard office lobby. I often accept reasonable offers. Feel free to make me one. This item has absolutely NO chips, cracks, scratches, or other damage besides age patina. It will ship fully insured at my own expense (Not included in your shipping cost!). If anything goes wrong during shipping, you will receive an immediate, full refund including shipping. I also offer friendly local pickup, if you are in my area or passing through if you want to circumvent the shipping cost or get it more quickly than delivery services.
