Album has a wooden cover with leather stitching that attaches the cover board to spine. Measures approx 9 1/2 x 12 1/2". Inside I found the name of Evelyn Otten, who I think owned the book, there are children's names of Sharon and Sara and also a child Johnny Hayes. Pages inside are extremely fragile and are breaking easily and now mostly detached, so you'll get nice photographs and fragmented papers, most photos have detached from the corners or adhesive has worn. Photos are black and white and pages are as follows: attached to the inside of front cover is a matted larger photo of WWII uniformed men and one women. Says Ft. Bragg and Tommy Dorman, Feb 18, 1946. man on skis, football game, page has 6 photos mostly loose photos of skiing, football game, army photos. One photo of young boy dated 1946 of John. H. Hayes. 12 photos photos of home 12 photos, some loose photos of people on beach and others, 11 photos pages 11 and 12 have 3 smaller photos with date of 1928 on them of children, some photos of what I think is Bronx Zoo. 8 photos. pages 13 and 14 have 2 pictures of couples page 17 is blank, page 18 has 5 family type photos Page 19 has photo Christmas card dated 1947, page 20 has Baptism Godparent certificate for Evelyn Otten to Melvina Frederica de Angelis 1948 at St. Lukes, NY, NY. and photo of young boy and girl Sharon and John. pages 21 and 22 have wedding invitations and calling cards pages 23 has no photos, page 24 has 9 photos of a wedding page 25 is blank, page 26 has obituary of Herbert Otten and wedding thanks page 27 is blank, page 28 has 2 Christmas cards. Page 29 and 30 has 9 loose photos of people and baby and greeting card 31 and 32 have 4 loose photos, one of women having drinks at table 33 is blank, page 34 has wedding invitation page 35 and 36 have 3 loose photos of toddler girl and wedding invite. There is about 36 more blank pages, some have breakage and are fragile. There is discoloration and tape or adhsive residue on the pages with photos, as said, many are loose and pages breaking but photos are in fair to good condition.
