1941 Gdańsk Poland Danzig German bond certificate share

Description: Old Stock Yard Collectible Stock and Bond Certificates Danzig / Gdańsk Germany/ Poland bond certificate Original bond certificate 1941 Vignette of the the medieval port crane (Krantor), called Żuraw over the Motlawa river.More Information: The Free City of Danzig (German: Freie Stadt Danzig; Polish: Wolne Miasto Gdańsk) was an autonomous Baltic Sea port and city-state including over two hundred surrounding towns, villages and settlements, established on January 10, 1920, in accordance with the terms of Part III, Section XI of the Treaty of Versailles of 1919, which split it off from Germany along with other territories of the German Empire. It was placed under League of Nations "protection", with special economic-related rights reserved for Poland. The city was denied self-determination, despite the majority of German-speaking citizens calling for a reunion with Germany. The status as Free City ceased to exist at the beginning of World War II in early September 1939 when German troops captured Danzig. The Free City — violating its constitution guaranteed by the League of Nations — declared Danzig part of Germany. Annexed by Germany, German anti-Semitic and anti-Polish discriminations and persecutions — including killings and deportations — hit Jewish and Polish citizens, against whom Danzig's Nazi Senate already discriminated before, but with Danzig's constitution, guaranteed by the League of Nations, still providing little, but some protection. Starting with the conquest by the Soviet Army in the early months of 1945, German minor citizens of the former Free City of Danzig were killed and expelled, and the city was put under Polish administration under its traditional Polish name, Gdańsk, and Polish people were brought in as replacement. ~ Information from Wikipedia Old Stock Yard Policies and FAQs Please visit my eBay store – any combined certificate purchases ship free with auction items!Shipping and Handling Charges: $3.99 for one certificate to the U.S. $14.99 for one certificate to the rest of the world Additional, combined certificate purchases ship for free! FAQs: Are you your certificates authentic or copies? Everything I sell is original and authentic. I do not sell copies or reproductions. Is the certificate pictured the exact one I will receive? Usually, yes. Occasionally, I do list certificates of the same type without rescanning. In this case, the certificate you receive will be virtually identical (same color, size, vignette, etc.) to the one pictured. Again, if you ever receive anything from me you are not 100% pleased with, you can return it for a full refund. What is the best way to store, protect, and display my certificate collection? The best thing, by far, that I have come across for storing certificates are profolios and sleeves made by Itoya. You can purchase them in my eBay store. I have several sizes available. Do the certificates you sell have financial value? No, these certificates are sold as collectibles only; although they are authentic, they no longer hold financial value.
