Description: 1941 Men's Bulova 8AE Manual Wind Watch This is a nice example of a men's WWII era Bulova manual wind watch, manufactured in 1941 (the * stamped on the movement indicates the year of manufacture). I found similar watches on the mybulova website, which indicate that the model of this watch is the "Senator" (Bulova recycled model names over the years). The 17 jewel 8AE caliber movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is keeping accurate time. The 10k R.G.P. (Rolled Gold Plate) case has been cleaned and polished, and shows some light surface scratches, and some minor gold loss on the bottom edges of the lugs. The dial on this watch is in great shape for its age, with some discoloration marks in the middle section and light patina throughout. A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed. A brand new black leather strap has been installed - note the lug width on this watch is only 14mm, so the strap is more feminine (the new owner is empowered to change it). Overall, the watch is in excellent condition and ready to wear! Please see pictures for more details, and feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase.
