Description: This original DECEMBER 1949 ISSUE OF "FAMOUS FANTASTIC MYSTERIES" MAGAZINE (VOL 11 # 2) features a cover illustration for "OGDEN'S STRANGE STORY" by LAWRENCE STERNE STEVENS. An interior story has been illustrated by VIRGIL FINLAY. The square-bound pulp magazine is approximately 7" wide and 9 1/4" tall. See attached photos for a closer look. The pulp is complete and the pages are not brittle. The covers have typical chipping of the overhang, and there are small pieces missing from the bottom and lower right side. The book has not been repaired or retouched. General signs of use (but not abuse) on the covers with tape repairs at top and bottom of spine. Colors are vivid. Several spine-side tears on back cover. A good reader copy. Note: I am NOT a professional grader and the book will be sold "AS IS", so please ask for additional details before purchasing.
