Description: 1949 Vintage Press Photo.Hollywood, California. Portraying the life of Marilyn Miller, Broadway star of yesteryear, June Haver literally steps into the fabulous stockings once worn by Miss Miller and they fit her as snugly as the role she plays. The stockings are bejeweled. They were made for Miss Miller in 1925 at a cost of $2,500. Too bad if she had a run in 'em. Miss Haver stars in "Look For The Silver Lining". June Haver was an American film actress, singer and dancer. Once groomed by 20th Century Fox to be "the next Betty Grable," Haver appeared in a string of musicals, but she never achieved Grable's popularity. Haver's second husband was the actor Fred MacMurray, whom she married after she retired from showbusiness. Photo is Dated: July 1, 1949. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC PHOTO, NOT A COPY OR SCANS.
