Description: I'm pleased to offer this "Charming" VINTAGE PIXIE ELF School House CERAMIC COOKIE JAR. It measures 12" tall X 9" long X 7-1/2" wide overall, with the "roof top" lid in place. The jar itself w/o the lid measures 9" long X 7" wide X 6-1/2" tall. Circa 1950's and made by Gilmer Art Pottery (Calif); it features a high gloss red / orange roof top lid over a satin finish brown color "schoolhouse" jar (see images). Embossed PIXIE ELF figures decorate the front side (see images). NICE & CLEAN inside & out; there are NO chips or cracks and there is NO crazing in the glaze!Normally unseen is the typical shelf wear underneath and some minor finish loss at the underside corners of the roof top lid (see images).
