Description: This listing is for a 1954 Baltimore Bullets program from their game against the New York Knicks, played on November 14th at the Baltimore Coliseum. This game was the Bullets' 9th game of the season. Due to financial difficulties, their season would be suspended on November 27th, after only 14 games and a 3-11 record. The franchise never recovered and became the last team to cease operations (fold) in NBA history. The 14 games were removed from the NBA's historical history, including the results and statistics for both teams.In 1963, the Chicago Zephyrs would move to Baltimore and become the 2nd incarnation of the Bullets.This program is in very good condition, with writing on and in the program and minor creases & edge wear. The score sheets are unscored, except for scoring marks for the 9 points for Frank Selvy.In addition to the program, the buyer will receive a ticket stub from a sports carnival held on March 27th, 1954, at the Baltimore Coliseum. This event was highlighted by the Harlem Globetrotters and spearheaded by their owner to aid the financially struggling Bullets. It was played 2 weeks after the end of the 1953-54 season.
