This is a 5-coin proof set that was acquired by me many years ago from a collector that was selling his collection. When I received the sets they were sealed and I stored them to protect the coins and the original U.S. Mint packaging. I recently sliced the top of this envelope so that I could inspect the coins. They are brilliant with mirrored fields and lots of luster. The set contains three 90% silver & 10% copper coins, the Franklin Half Dollar, the Washington Quarter and the Roosevelt Dime. The Jefferson Nickel's composition is 75% copper & 25% nickel and the Lincoln Cent is composed of 95% copper & 05% tin and zinc and since it has not been exposed to the air, it has a nice red color. Each coin is sealed in a separate pocket within the cellophane packet. The set pictured is the one being offered and it will be shipped with extra care to protect the OGP. Thank you for looking.
