Description: This auction is for a photo of the "Blue Goose" B/Altered 1947 Crosley being pushed into the Pits by a 1958 Oldsmobile at Indianapolis Raceway Park in 1961 during the 7th Annual NHRA U.S. Nationals. The "Blue Goose" was powered by a Blown 301" Chevy Motor and was built by Elwood Peterson,Bruce Boyce and Gordie McNutt. Elwood Peterson's son Jeff campaigns the updated "Blue Goose" today. This was the 1st U.S. Nationals held at INDY . You can see the D-A Lubricants Timing Tower in the background . Photo is made from my original slide on 4" x 6" Premium Photo Paper. Great piece of Vintage Drag Racing History. The WATERMARK will not appear in the photo.
