Description: For sale is a vintage OLSON Chrome Crystal Microphone, Model M-145, left behind in the radio electronics inventory of my late father. He was an active HAM radio operator for over 70 years, and was a radio and other electronics serviceman for much of his life. He always kept a generous inventory of spare and replacement parts on hand, for speedy service calls for his customers, available for walk-in customers to his service shop, and handy for his own electronics projects. All his components were stored in a dry, smoke-free environment. I have no idea how to test my dad's electronics, so I need to sell them as is, and as photographed. The switch seems to work, and if you hold it down and slide it forward, it locks in there. But that's all I can tell you. The RadioMuseum site dates this at mid-sixties. I also found this on line: 1960’s era vintage Olson M-145 Chrome Crystal HiZ harmonica microphone. These mics were made in Japan and were copies of the Shure Slim-X 777, also branded by Monarch, Philmore, Fentone and other U.S. audio companies as well as Olson. This microphone comes as photographed, with no cable attached. I hope this is one that you would love to use with YOUR vintage speaker system! Thanks for looking here!!
