This was signed within the last few weeks of his life This card was NOT only Pel's finest example of this card ( pop 1 finest) but it's also one of only 3 examples from this historically important Brazilian issue with hundreds of cards entirely PEL that Pel used to OWN to be awarded this desirable grade from PSA Now, as far as the condition, that is what's particularly impressive in this case. For the entire nearly 300 card set, to date, PSA has only given 5 unsigned cards this prestigious grade of Nm/Mt 8, and nothing any finer. Within Pel's remarkable personal collection, three more Instantaneos cards also received an 8, and this IS one of those three cards. Pel's autograph received a Gem Mint 10 from PSA and the card graded a Near Mint/Mint 8 with PSA. This card hails from the historical Pel collection, as evidenced by the provenance recorded by PSA on its label. This collection of the King's cards also represents the very first time where PSA actually put Pel's name on their label CORRECTLY. You can look at any other graded Pel card and notice that the label says "Pele" The accent mark over the last letter of his name was quite important to the King!!
