This is the nut with the threaded shoulder. This is what holds the ignition switch to the dash. DO NOT use pliers to remove or install! Going by early GM parts books this bezel is only "correct" for the vehicles we have it listed for. In the 1970s it superseded some earlier ones and became a "generic" replacement. 1966 Nova and Chevelle used a different style bezel unique to 1966, though this one will interchange. CONDITION: New OER reproduction - not a generic replacement.
