1968 Chevrolet Impala nos ss emblems

Description: About this vehicle This is my 1968 chevy impala. Factory options verified by GM of canada. Tinted glass all oem except new windshield F40 heavy duty front and rear suspension positraction 396 325 HP 4 Speed wide ratio dual exhaust Gauges all work except amp and clock. The paint and body work were done over ten years ago and still look great.This was a very high end paint job car was taken apart prior to paint.there were only four small rust spots behind front wheels and behind rear wheels.they were properly done and still look great no bubbles anywhere on the body. All sheetmetal is original . There are minor chips and scratches from driving the car. This is a factory 396 four speed car not a super sport. I have added NOS SS emblems and 427 emblems to the extierior and dash of the car. I will include all factory emblems in great used condition with sale. The original 396 is long gone .I installed a 1972 four bolt 454 bone stock 9 1/2 compression restored original quadrajet carb on oem intake. This motor runs strong never gets hot has less than 5000 miles on it. I installed hedman coated headers the only deviation from stock apearence the restored oem manifolds and headpipes will be included in the sale. The original muncie was replaced with a midwest muncie super M22Z rock crusher. Super wide ratio allowing rapid acceleration 1 2 3 gear and 1 to 1 fourth along with 3.08 rear axle allows freeway cruising comfortably at 70 MPH at 2400 RPM. The factory 12 bolt is completely rebuilt bearings clutches gear set etc. Every part of the drum brake system is new from booster to brake lines shoes wheel cylinders dums hardware etc. all suspension bushings are replaced .Steering box and pump are rebuilt.235 70 15 tires are as new 3 years old. The top is still in good shape has a glass rear window.The convertible top pump and hydraulic lines are new also a NOS top switch works great. The intierior has been redone. oem style door panels and seat covers and carpet. Dash pad is original uncracked.all weatherstripping is new plus window fuzzies.The radio is a factory AM FM converted with modern electronics to enable use of satelite or cell input. Only has oem dash speaker but additional speakers can be added i did not want to cut up the car for speakers. The car was refreshed seven years ago with a body off all new body mounts fresh undercarriage paint and detail. rechrome rear bumper new lenses . This is a well sorted car drive it anywhere. If i were to keep the car the only thing i would do is add hidden speakers under the seat or trunk . and maybe a front disc swap.
