Its contents allow cosmonauts to suvive and wait for rescuers team if landed in a harsh, inaccessible environment. Design features. The wire saw is a thin springy wire about 30 cm long with handle rings at the ends. An even thinner wire is wound in a spiral around the main wire, the protruding turns of which are the “notches” of this wire saw. Condition - the wire saw is broken due to the corrosion. It's over 3 decades old. Nevertheless it can be displayed for educational purposes, as the part of survival kit of the Soviet cosmonauts. It comes with the fabric bag.
