Description: 1970's YEMA Navygraf 2 Ref. 25 025 6 MAXI DIAL ESA Y2 9362 DIVER for PARTS Up for sale is a rare Yema NAVYGRAF II ref. 25.025.6 gents stainless steel skin diver, in as found condition, for parts or to restore. Original steel bezel is present, however the insert is not the bakelite but a later replacement. Thick original crystal remains in very good condition. Original crown present but scuffed and dented, thus would benefit from replacement (which can still be sourced). It does screw down however stem is too long and needs slight adjustment. Black original maxi lume dial is in good overall condition. Hour and minute hands are most definitely later replacements, and center seconds needs some attention to the tube but original to the Navygraf. Powered by an original early ETA - ESA Y2 9362 1st gen movement (translucent top plate instead of green), which is scarce to find, and remains in good and original condition. Although the movement runs, since minute and seconds hand cannot be attached properly, it has not been checked. Therefore it is sold in exactly as found condition, for parts or to restore. The movement expansion ring is also present to the watch. Nice beefy steel case, with bezel holding plates, and fat crown guards is in decent condition. Case still retains its shapes although it has probably seen a polish in the past, however new wear marks have amassed ever since. Some oxidation and corrosion marks to the back. Worth mentioning the bezel rod is blocked. Also one holding bezel plates screws is missing. Looking at the screws, they strike as PVD coated. My advise is to replace the entire set. Screw in back case. Case back has been polished. Ref. is 25.025.6 - QUARTZ. Sold as is, head only. Diameter: ~38.00 mm across (measuring bezel), or ~38 x 45mm including the very interesting hooded lugs. All the imperfections are shown in photos. Any other defects not mentioned in description but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. The watch, like all the items i sell, is Guaranteed 100% Authentic and as Described.
